“The amount of crystals that we’re putting on the leotards has just gone off the charts,” says Kelly McKeown, executive vice president of design and corporate relations at GK Elite.

Dance leotards come in a wider array of styles and offer more options than gymnastics leotards.

TOPS (Talent Opportunity Program) is a talent search and educational program for female gymnasts age 7-10 and their coaches.
The program was created by USA Gymnastics to identify and develop gymnasts with exceptional talent for gymnastics.
The ultimate goal of the program is to identify and develop prospects for the national team.
Gymnasts in the TOPS program typically learn skills at an accelerated pace.
State and regional evaluations are followed by a national test of physical abilities and basic gymnastics skills in October of each year.
State and regional testing is followed by a national training camp in December for those who qualify.
